Before you start

  • You need the season the teams are playing in. Teams you already have in your league can be added by name.
  • To charge a team fee, your league needs Stripe connected under Payments. See Connect Stripe to take payments.
  • If you don’t see Registrations in the left menu, ask ScoreLM to turn it on for your league.

Steps

  1. Step 1: In the left menu, click Registrations, then New registration.

Common questions

Do I need captains?
No. Captains are optional helpers. On a team’s sheet you can Add player yourself, Invite players by email or share the team code. What you change applies at once.
What can a captain do?
Their invitation lets them sign in to your admin, where they see only their team: they add and invite players, share the team code and pay the team fee. Everything they change waits for your approval. See Approve teams and roster changes.
Can the captain name the team?
Yes. In Add team, choose Name it later and type the captain’s email. The captain names the team when they accept. Register it from its sheet once it has a name.
How do players join a team?
With the team code under Have a team code? on the registration page, its link (Copy link under Team code), or an invitation from the team’s sheet. They create an account and answer the questions, then their place waits for your approval.
A team paid its fee in cash. How do I record it?
On the team’s sheet, under Payment, click Mark as paid offline…. Or click Waive the fee… if the team doesn’t pay.
Can each player pay instead of the captain?
Yes. Under Price, choose Each player pays and type the Player fee (USD). Each player pays when they join, and the team pays nothing. Choose before you add teams: who pays can’t change once a team or a player owes a fee.
