Before you start

  • You need the season people are signing up for. See Create your first season and teams.
  • To charge a price, your league needs Stripe connected under Payments. See Connect Stripe to take payments. A free registration needs nothing else.
  • If you don’t see Registrations in the left menu, ask ScoreLM to turn it on for your league.

Steps

  1. Step 1: In the left menu, click Registrations.

Your registrations are listed here, with their season, status and how many people have signed up.

What you’ll see

Your player registration is open. People find it under Register on your website or at its link. Each sign-up shows on the registration’s People tab as soon as it’s complete and paid; there’s nothing to approve. When sign-up closes, split everyone into teams with the team builder.

Common questions

Can registration be free?
Yes. Under Price, choose Free. A free registration doesn’t need Stripe, and people are registered as soon as they answer your questions.
What happens when it’s full?
The page shows Full and nobody else can sign up. To queue people instead, turn on Waitlist under Dates and capacity: they’re offered a spot when one opens. See Track payments, refunds and the waitlist.
Can I make it invite only?
Yes. Under Details, turn off Public link. Then only people you invite can sign up: on the People tab, click Invite people and type their emails.
Do I have to approve each sign-up?
No. In a player registration, a sign-up counts as soon as it’s complete, and paid when there’s a price. You can cancel anyone’s registration from the People tab. Team registrations are different: you approve each team and every roster change.
Can I change it after it’s open?
Yes. Edit the Setup tab and click Save changes. The season can’t change once it has opened. A new price applies to anyone who hasn’t paid yet. A question people have already answered can’t be removed, but you can change its wording.
Who pays the fees?
By default the registrant pays a service fee on top of your price, so you receive the full price. The preview under Price shows the split for your league. Stripe’s processing fee is an estimate; the exact amount depends on the card.
