Register and join a team as a player

By the end you’ll have an account with your league, your registration done and paid, and a place on your captain’s team.

Before you start

  • You need your league’s website address, and an email address you can open on the same phone or computer.
  • Joining a team? Ask your captain for your team’s code, or for the link that fills it in.

Steps

  1. Step 1: On your league’s website, find the registration and tap View and register.

    The registration opens with its price, closing date and spots left. Can’t see it? Open the menu (☰) and tap Register.

  2. Step 2: Under Create an account to register, type your name, email and a password, then tap Create account.

    Check your email: the league emails you a 6-digit code. Already have an account? Tap Sign in instead.

  3. Step 3: Open the email, then type the 6-digit Code and tap Verify email.

    You’re signed in, and the form opens: Registering as your name and email.

  4. Step 4: Answer the Questions, like Jersey size.

  5. Step 5: Read the Waiver, then type your full name under Type your full name to sign.

  6. Step 6: Tap Continue to payment, and pay on the secure checkout page.

    You come back to the registration: You’re registered, with your receipt.

  7. Step 7: To join a team, open the team registration, type the Team code your captain sent, then tap Find team.

    Your captain’s team opens, like Join Harbor Kings, saying who pays the team fee. A link from your captain opens this page straight away.

  8. Step 8: Tap Join team.

  9. Step 9: Open the menu (☰) and tap My account.

    Scroll to My registrations: everything you’ve signed up for, with where it stands, like Registered, Paid or Awaiting approval.

What you’ll see

You have an account with your league. Your registration is done and paid, and your request to join your captain’s team waits for the league. Sign in any time to see where each one stands under My account.

Common questions

I didn’t get the code. What now?
Check your spam folder. After 30 seconds, tap Send a new code. The code goes to the email you typed, so check it’s right.
Who approves me when I join a team?
The league does, not your captain. Until it does, your registration shows Awaiting approval under My account.
Do I pay when I join a team?
It depends on the league, and the join page says which. Either your captain pays one fee for the whole team, or each player pays their own share after joining. Your place isn’t held until your share is paid.
I don’t have an account yet, and I have a team code.
Type the code first. The join page asks you to sign in or create an account. Tap Create account and join, then type the 6-digit code from your email.
Can I change my answers or cancel?
To cancel, tap Cancel registration under My account › My registrations, if the league still allows it. To change your answers, contact your league.
Can I do this on a computer?
Yes, the steps are the same. On a computer, Sign in is in the menu at the top of the league’s website. Once you’re signed in, your first name is there instead, and its menu has My account.
