Before you start

  • A live event is a stream that isn’t a game: a draft night, an awards night, an interview. For a game, use an overlay instead: see Set up a stream overlay.
  • Set up the stream on YouTube first, so you have its link.

  1. Step 1: In the left menu, click Game day.

Common questions

How do I end the stream?
Click End stream on the live event. It’s marked Ended, your homepage stops announcing it, and its page keeps the YouTube video as a replay.
How do fans find it before it starts?
A Scheduled event is on your website’s live events page (/live). Click Copy link on the live event and share the link; your homepage announces it once you click Go live.
Which time zone is the start time in?
The form starts on Central Time (CT). Pick yours in the box under the date. The live page shows fans the time in their own time zone too.
Can I add a picture?
Yes. Under Thumbnail, click Upload image (JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC). It shows on the live page and your homepage. Without one, the YouTube image is used.
Can I hide the YouTube chat?
Yes. Turn off Live chat, and the live page shows the stream on its own.
