Running game day
Game day touches every part of ScoreLM -- the scorebug, live scores, the box score, and the public site. This guide walks through the full flow from an hour before tip-off to marking the game final.
Video walkthrough coming soon
A 7-minute end-to-end walkthrough recorded courtside at a real game.
Confirm the game is on the schedule
An hour before tip-off, open the admin panel and confirm the game exists with the right teams, date, time, and venue. If you have a stream link, paste the YouTube URL into the game's 'Stream' field now -- it'll auto-embed on the public game page when you go live.

Print or pull up the roster
Pull up both team rosters on whatever device you'll use for live entry. If you do paper score sheets, print rosters with jersey numbers so the scorekeeper can mark fouls and points fast. The admin panel has a 'Print roster' button on each team page.

Link the scorebug if you're streaming
On the Pro plan, open the game in admin and click 'Link scorebug'. Pick which scorebug template to broadcast. The team names, colors, and logos auto-fill for this matchup. If you've already done this once, switching between games is two clicks.

Open the live control panel
From the game page in admin, click 'Live control'. This opens the courtside controls -- score, clock, period, fouls, possession arrow, and a button for player highlights and sponsor pop-ups. It's mobile-friendly so you can run the whole thing from a phone or tablet courtside.

Update the score in real time
Tap +1, +2, or +3 for whichever team scored. The public site, scorebug overlay, and any leaderboards update in under 200ms. If you tap the wrong button, hit the undo arrow -- it walks back the last action without messing up the box score.

Run the clock and periods
Start the game clock at tip-off. Pause it for timeouts, fouls, and reviews. When the period ends, tap 'End period' and the clock resets to the next period's length. The scorebug reflects the period number and time automatically.

Enter the box score after the game
Once the game is final, click 'Box score'. Enter each player's stat line -- points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, fouls, minutes. Most leagues do this from the score sheet right after the game. The public site shows the final box within seconds and league leaderboards update.

Mark the game final
Click 'Mark final' to close out the game. This locks the scorebug on the final score, freezes the box score (you can still edit it -- 'final' just stops live updates), and triggers next-round bracket advancement if it's a tournament game. Done.
