Connecting a custom domain
Run your league at yourleague.com instead of yourleague.scorelm.com. One CNAME record, automatic SSL, no DevOps required. The whole thing usually takes 10 minutes including DNS propagation.

Add your domain in the admin panel
Go to Settings → Domains in the admin dashboard and click 'Add custom domain'. Enter the domain you want -- yourleague.com, league.example.org, whatever. We'll show you the exact CNAME record to add at your DNS provider on the next screen. You can add multiple domains if you want both yourleague.com and www.yourleague.com.

Add the CNAME record at your DNS provider
Log in to wherever your domain is registered -- Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy, Google Domains, Squarespace, doesn't matter. Add a CNAME record pointing your domain (or a subdomain like 'league') to the target we showed you, which looks like 'tenants.scorelm.com'. If you're using the apex domain (yourleague.com without 'www'), use an ALIAS or ANAME record instead -- most modern DNS providers support it.

Wait for DNS to propagate and SSL to provision
DNS propagation usually takes 5 to 15 minutes but can take up to an hour, depending on your provider's TTL. Once we detect the CNAME, we automatically request a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate -- this happens in the background and takes another minute or two. The domain status in admin moves from 'Pending DNS' to 'Provisioning SSL' to 'Active'. You don't need to do anything during this; just wait.

Set redirect behavior
Once your domain is active, choose how you want non-canonical URLs to redirect. Most leagues set it to 'redirect www to apex' (so www.yourleague.com → yourleague.com) and 'enforce HTTPS' (so any http:// hit redirects to https://). Both are on by default. The old yourleague.scorelm.com URL keeps working too -- it 301-redirects to your custom domain so old links don't break.
