Built for basketball first
Basketball league management software that started courtside
ScoreLM began as the platform behind the Muslim Champions League, which meant hundreds of competitive players, a national fan base, and streams that had to look broadcast-quality. That origin makes it basketball league management software in the most literal sense: full box scores, quarters and overtime, and live courtside scoring were the first things built, not bolt-ons. Enter a stat line once and your schedule, standings, leaderboards, and player profiles update themselves.
Origin
Born in a gym, hardened by a 39-game weekend
ScoreLM exists because the Muslim Champions League needed it. MCL is a competitive basketball organization with hundreds of players, packed gyms on game day, and fans who expect real-time standings and broadcast-quality streams. Before ScoreLM, all of that ran on Google Sheets, group chats, a free site builder, and a streaming setup with no scorebug.
We didn't spec this basketball league management software from customer personas. MCL ran their 2026 tournament on it, with 16 teams, 39 games in two days, live YouTube streams with scorebug overlays on every court, and nearly 24,000 page views in a single weekend. When a scorekeeper needed a faster way to enter a 10-player line, we shipped it between games: 34 deployments over that one weekend.
A demanding basketball operation put this platform through its paces before it was ever sold as a product. Read the full MCL story.
Stats
Full basketball box scores, entered from the sideline
Points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and turnovers, tracked per player for every game, with quarters and overtime handled. Score the game live from a phone or iPad courtside: tap to update the score, control the clock, and fans watching the game page see it as it happens.
The box score is the unit of truth in basketball league management software. Get it in once and standings, leaderboards, team pages, and player profiles all update themselves, so nothing gets copy-pasted into a second system.
Live Courtside Scoring
Run the whole game (score, clock, and stats) from a phone or iPad and broadcast it to fans in real time.
Every Core Stat Category
Points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and turnovers. You choose which categories your league tracks.
Mistakes Aren't Permanent
Fix a stat line after the game and everything downstream recalculates. CSV import covers bulk and historical data.
Broadcast
Basketball league management software built for game night
If your league streams its games, the broadcast is your storefront, and the scorebug is what makes it look real. ScoreLM gives you an overlay URL you paste into OBS, Streamlabs, or vMix as a browser source, with score, clock, player highlights, and sponsor pop-ups all included.
That courtside control is what basketball league management software should mean on game night: one set of taps updates the overlay, the game page, and the league site at the same moment, so nobody has to ask you for the score.
Scorebug Overlays For Streamed Hoops
One browser-source URL into OBS, Streamlabs, or vMix. The overlay updates in real time as the game is scored.
Controlled From A Phone
Whoever runs the scorebug does it from a phone courtside, with no one hovering over the broadcast laptop.
Streams On The Game Page
Embed your YouTube Live stream on the game page with chat, so the box score and the broadcast live at the same URL.
The scorebugs feature page shows the overlays in detail.
Leaderboards
Leaderboards and player profiles players actually share
Season leaderboards update the moment a box score is saved: scoring leaders, rebounds, assists, whichever categories you track. Player profiles carry career stats across seasons and teams, so a player three years into your league has three years of history on one page.
This is where basketball league management software quietly does your marketing. At the MCL 2026 tournament, players shared their stat lines on social, and every one of those posts pointed back at the league site.
See how the engine works on the stats feature page, or go deeper on the basketball stat tracker page.
Beyond the season
Tournament weekends, ticket gates, and the rest
Season play is the focus of this page, but tournaments are built in: round robin pools, single-elimination brackets, seeding, automatic winner advancement, manual re-seeding after pool play, and a public bracket page fans can follow. If a weekend event is your main thing, the basketball tournament software page covers that end to end.
The gate is covered too. Somali Week 2026 ran its annual basketball tournament gate on ScoreLM ticketing: 4 days, 22 teams, 4 venues across the Twin Cities, with online pre-sale plus walk-up door sales, QR scanning at the gate from a phone, and payouts direct to the league via Stripe.
Ticketing, sponsor tiers with on-site and on-stream placement, and plain-English usage analytics all ship inside the same basketball league management software subscription. It's one flat price per league, not a menu of add-on modules.
And if hoops is only part of what you run, soccer is fully supported today with its own box-score model (see soccer league management), and the broader league management software page covers the platform sport by sport. Youth clubs comparing options may want our guide for youth basketball clubs.
Basketball league management software FAQ
What basketball stats can I track?
Points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and turnovers, entered per player per game. You choose which categories your league tracks, mistakes can be fixed after the fact, and CSV import covers bulk or historical data. Career stats follow players across seasons and teams.
Does ScoreLM handle sports other than basketball?
Yes and no. Basketball came first and it shows, but ScoreLM is not locked to one sport: soccer is fully supported today with its own box-score model (goals, assists, cards, clean sheets), while volleyball, hockey, football, and futsal are on the roadmap and not live yet. If you found us searching for basketball league management software but also run a soccer division, one league site covers both.
How much does it cost?
The first 15 days are free, and we don't ask for a credit card up front. After that, early bird pricing is $17 per month billed annually, which works out to $204 a year, flat per league, with unlimited teams and players. There's no permanent free plan; the flat rate just doesn't climb as your league grows.
Do fans or parents need to download an app?
No. Everything fans see (schedule, standings, box scores, player pages, live games) is a mobile-first website that opens from a link in the group chat. We think basketball league management software should never put an app-store download between a fan and the score.
Can it run a one-weekend basketball tournament?
Yes. Round robin pools, single-elimination brackets, seeding, automatic winner advancement, and a public bracket page fans can follow are all built in. Somali Week 2026 ran its 22-team, 4-venue tournament gate on ScoreLM ticketing. If a weekend event is your whole operation, the basketball tournament page on this site goes deeper on that use case.
